Voter Eligibility & Registration Information
In order to vote on the budget, residents must be registered. Voter eligibility requires that you are:
1. A Citizen of the United States
2. Eighteen  years of age or older on the day of the election
3. You have lived in the school district for at least 30 days prior to this election.
4. A registered voter with the school district or with the Suffolk County Board of Elections

Qualified voters can also use the New York State Department of Motor Vehicles Electronic Voter Registration Application to register to vote or to update the information they have on file with the New York State Board of Elections. Information regarding that can be located at . The District does not have control over the Department of Motor Vehicles Registration Application process or its registration timelines. Therefore, qualified voters who intend to register through the Department of Motor Vehicles should do so as soon as possible.

Referenda or Propositions
to a rule adopted by the Board of Education in accordance with §2035 of
the Education Law, any referenda or propositions to amend the budget,
or otherwise to be submitted for voting at said election, must be filed
with the District Clerk at her office in the Administration Building,
189 Dunton Avenue, East Patchogue, New York, at least sixty (60)
days before the date of the Annual Meeting and Election.
